i, too, agree with what you said about avatard. i didn't quite appreciate a serious man as much as you did, but (talking movie recommendations) i would like to recommend tom ford's directorial debut, a single man, which was surprisingly good and moving and beautiful, in fact, it's one of the best films i have seen all year. maybe you'd like to give that one a try.
