I love the movie On Golden Pond. You old poop! The soundtrack of the movie by Dave Grusin is great. Thank you for playing the theme song from the movie On Golden Pond. I also have some cd's from Dave Grusin. Take Care My Lovies! From The Good Humor Penquin.
Auntie, I totally agree, this documentary is just wonderful. Apparently, a sequel is currently in the making (according to imdb.com), called "Beyond the Golden Age".
You might also enjoy the 6-part-PBS-documentary "Broadway: The American Musical" which covers the whole time-range from the late 19th century to the present (2004 that was), and the three-parter "Broadway's Lost Treasures" (which was broadcast as part of PBS' Great Performances series) which as far as I remember compiled a number of performances taken from various Tony Award ceremonies and some commentary by some legendary actors.
